The Gravely story

When I lost my father, I found myself overwhelmed not just by grief, but by the endless logistics that no one prepares you for. Phone calls to make, documents to find, decisions that felt impossible to face alone.

I kept thinking: there has to be a better way. Families shouldn’t have to navigate this maze while processing the hardest moment of their lives.

That’s why I built Gravely: to be the guide I wish I’d had. A companion through the practical steps, so you can focus on what matters most, honoring your loved one and supporting each other.

My mom passed away when I was eight. I still remember how overwhelmed my dad was: planning a funeral, sorting through finances and paperwork, and caring for four young children, all at once.

My dad, and the rest of my family, needed far more support than we had. Instead of having time to grieve, we were focused on getting through each day.

That’s why I joined Gravely. I want to help build tools that make the tasks that come with losing a loved one easier, so families can spend less time on logistics and more time on healing.
